Count your blessings.

When the challenges of life hits us so hard and we just wanna let it all go,
when our hearts are so full of rage, anger and frustration,
when the people, things we trusted and believed turn out to be so fake,
when we turn and hope to find a way out and there seems to be no way,
when we thought we had everything and realize we have nothing,
when we ask ourselves a thousand and one question and don't get the answers,
Then we begin to question God,
Ask questions like "Why Me"
Most of us have been in these places,
Many of us have had these experiences,
We've all had that genuine reason,
Reasons why we should just give up
Time and time again have I asked myself why?
I have had so many reasons to just say I am done.
But now I redirect my thoughts to why I should continue.
I have decided to look at my gains
The taste of my food
How refresh I feel when I drink that cup of water
When I ride in my car,
When I can see, smell and hear
Then I realized how blessed I am.
To be alive. to be standing
Living my life and not being carried by anybody
Or being fed by anybody
Come on people,
We are so blessed beyond words.
I choose to be grateful and count my blessings
Even though we live in a world where all manner of thing are happening,
We have to always remember whom we are and just be thankful cos it could be worse.
 

Dont Be Afraid to Start Small.

Today, I am gonna be talking about starting small. Life is not really about where you start or what you start with, It is mostly about decisions and having the courage to wanna do something. Over the years, I have seeing myself doing things I never thought were possible. They looked crazy in the beginning but you know what, I actually accomplished them. Everything is life is possible if only you believe in yourself. For example, you take a job and you walk in the door without any experience and six months down the line, you are one of the most experienced persons on that job. How? The answer is simple. Dedication, Determination and Diligence. Three "D" words.

Now, why is it that we don't get the same result in everything else? The answer is also simple. Whenever the D words are not applied, there can't be any result.
So to me, life is a plus and minus, build on your experience and values and you will move a step forward everyday and, when you refuse to build yourself up, you see yourself falling behind everyday.
Life is a choice. You have to choose to be somebody, not just by saying it but by doing something and believing in yourself. I believe if we put the same effort we put into our jobs into our personal lives, We can be anything we wanna be. Think about how early we wake up, how we have to pack our lunch boxes, make sure we have everything ready even the night before and run if we think we running late, or sometimes we don't even eat just because we think we might be late. And then, observe every single rule policy laid out to the letter. Think about it for a second, why can't we do same thing when it comes to what we want?
I have decided to push myself to pursue success. I am determined to prove to myself that I can do anything I put mind to. Some days ago, I decided to start a business, it seemed like I was crazy because we all know starting a business cost money, time, and a lot of research. And, after all this, you have to start building your customers which can sometimes be the hardest cause you will hear this word several time that you wanna give up "NO". One thing I have always reminded myself is, if these people who are doing it can do it, I can do it also. Why? Because they have just one head like I do. We have to have the "I can do" mentality. Don't be afraid to start cause when you look back, you will be glad you did.
Today I am starting small, but I will not remain small.

All you need is a second.

When you are beaten or tossed in life,it may seem like there's no way forward. That is a lie from the pit of hell. Every wind of trial and temptation is a distraction from the devil. They are designed to distract and turn you away from the truth and reality of life. The system of this world is ruled by unseen forces. Things don't just happen. Every physical occurrence has a spiritual connection. That is why it is important that we learn to see beyond the ordinary. Some will ask " How Do I do That" the answer is very simple. There is another person inside of you that has the ability to connect with the spiritual world. All you need do is take a second to listen and you will be amazed. God gave each and everyone of us the power and ability to do the impossible, but the system of this world has beclouded our minds and make us see everything from their ordinary and worldly designed perspective. One question I sometimes ask myself is, why am I here? Why did God create me? I am sure it was not a mistake and I am determined to fulfill my purpose and destiny in life. I refuse to live an ordinary life and for that reason, I have decided to do things differently this year, and I encourage you to do the same. Take a second to ask yourself some personal questions and see what you can do differently this year. Remember, if you want a different answer in life, you must be willing to do things you've never done before. But, do not forget that there will be challenges, distractions and discouragements. You must develop a thick skin and be ready to face some obstacles but one thing is for sure. In the end, you will be glad you did. Do not let this year start and end like every other year without doing at least one thing that you are proud of.

In life, we sometimes cry. Maybe because of what we go through, how we feel or something we love dearly. I must tell you that it is ok to cry, but you don't have to keep crying. We may have cried yesterday, but do we have to continue crying today? The answer is no. Today is a brand new day with new life and new opportunities. We have the opportunity and the ability to do things differently today. So, I encourage you to take on your day as if there won't be a tomorrow cause, one good decision today can change the future. Pastor Chris said something many years ago about dreaming big, and walking in line with with your dream. It is one thing to dream, and it is another thing to work it out. And in order for you to do that, you must be consistent. An idea is as good as dead until you work it out. so, why don't you go out today like a champion who is ready to dominate and make the best out of today! Do not take anything for granted.

What are the things you take for granted in life? Some of the things we call common in life are truly the things that matters the most. We sometimes look, search far and wide for success, happiness and blessings, but just maybe, what we need for a happy and successful life is around us. Sometimes ago I metioned something about the law of recognition. You must be able to recognize the ingredients that spices life or else, you will live an ordinary life and wonder why others are succeeding or happy and you are not. Just a few days ago, something very surprising happened to me. I woke up that morning unhappy about some unnecessary things. Things that I allowed to becloud my happiness. But just as I got to work, I found myself telling someone some crazy jokes and just then, I caught myself laughing out so loud and happy at the same time. Then I took sometime to think back at the minutes I was unhappy and paid a little attention to why I was unhappy, and I was amazed that I was purnishing myself for nothing. Be careful what you allow into your mind, and always pay a little attention to yourself. Trust me when you do this, you can avoid a lot of unnecessary things that you don't need in your life. Another thing I learned from just telling a joke to someone is that, when you do something positive for someone, there is an instant and automatic reward that comes to you. This is a spiritaul principle that can not be argued. Do not take anything for granted cos everything is important. Your mind.

A lot of us read and study a lot. But the question is, what do we study? How has it affected our minds? Know that, whatever we hear or read leaves us with something positive or negative. So, it is very important to distinguish what we read or listen to.The Bible says in Proverbs 4:28, guide your heart with all dilligence, for out of it are the issues of life. Out of it are the issues of life. It also says, with all dilligence. That means, with everything you've got. Why? Because what comes into our hearts and minds are very important. Pastor Chris says, your thought controls your words, and your words controls your actions, and your actions determines your future. So, whatever we become in life is a result of what we conceived in our hearts and minds, therefore our thought process is very important. Our successes and failures in life depends on them. You know when you calculate mathematics, you do what is called "checking" to make sure all the steps are in order! The same thing applies to life. Always take the time to check your life to make sure the right stuff is allowed, and the things that are of no benefits are chased out. I mean, chased out. The bible talks about renewing our minds.
