Position yourself for what you want.

You know, back in the days, I used to compare life to a football field/soccer field. On the soccer field, you have to be at the right position to get an uninterrupted pass to be able to move or score goals. So, in life, you must know how to position yourself for you to have a successful life. Therefore, positioning is very important in life. When you want something in life, you have to position your life for it. Make yourself available and qualified for it. This is what happens when you position yourself well for what you want; you cannot be ignored. A few days ago I was thinking and I asked myself, why is it that some people are everywhere, but at the end of the day, they are nowhere? Like the saying that says " Jack of all trades, master of of none". When I asked myself that question, an answer came to my spirit. The answer I got was, such people have not discovered themselves. Discovering yourself means, realizing who you are and knowing what you want in and out of life. Don't always be the one on the bench observing everyone else. Discover who you are, know what you want and position yourself for it. There is a decision I have made that I would to share with you all. I have decided that I will never let any opportunity pass me by. That's why I have a problem with the clause "I know" that has become the in thing today. Before you start talking to someone about something, the first thing that comes out of their mouths is, I know. Let me tell you something, people who know two much never go too far in life. This is the reason. When you know everything, it makes people stop talking to you because they assume you already knew. Don't know too much. Rather, cease every opportunity to learn something new. You never know where they might be useful to you. Don't let anything be common to you cause everything is important. If you want a job, position yourself for it. You want a wife, a husband a new career! Anything you want in life, make sure you position yourself for it. Don't let anything distract you. Not even yourself. Like I said in my other post, sometimes we can be our greatest enemies. Make a positive effort everyday to do something new. Learn from others. Do not limit yourself cause there is so much more out there. The things you accomplished today are proves that you can do even more if you put your mind to it. Learn to trust God and let Him direct you, and I bet you you will never go wrong. God bless you.

You, Your Greatest Enemy

A lot of times, we are so quick to see what others do, how they don't treat us good, how they ignore us and stuff like that. Sometimes we blame everybody for what happens to us and what we go through. But I tell you the truth, in most cases, we are our own problems. If only we can take a second to look at ourselves inwardly, we would realise that a lot of things are being taken for granted and as a result, we pay the consequences that we end up blaming everybody for. One of the things about us that we always overlook is our habbits. Do you have a specific habbit that stops you from doing what you need to do? or become a bump between you and the way you ought to live? Do not take it for granted. Make it a responsibility. Change whatever you don't want while you still can. Only you can make personal changes and when you do, you will see a lot of things working even more than you expected. Make a conscious, constant effort to always put yourself on check. Sometimes ago, I wrote something and made mention of the common things of life. This is very important. Every little thing we do matters. Don't allow yourself to be your own barrier. Believe me when I say this, everything is possible. When you plan something and they don't work out, take a minute to look back at the steps you took and you will be surprised there is something you did not do right. Don't get caught up with things that take your attention away from yourself. Always put yourself first cause, when your life is straight, you can do and achieve whatever you want and even be a blessing to others. Don't be your own enemy, but be a blessing to yourself. Challenges

Everyday comes with its own challenge. Some face Bigger ones, while some face smaller ones. Sometimes we are tempted to asking, why me? Common, this is the wrong question. The truth is, if it wasn't you, it would have been someone else. So it must happen to somebody. Let me ask you,who could it have been? The Bible says, if you faint in the days of adversary, your faith is small. So, let me ask you again, is your faith small? If it is, then know that your reward will also be small cause, small people do small things, while big people do big things. The kind of challenge you go through, determines the kind of person you are. You wanna know if you are great or not, just look at the the challenges you face in life.See every challenge as a ladder through which you climb to the next level. In every fight, there's always a winner. Always make sure you win cos the celebration comes after the win. God bless you and empower you.

Positive Passionality

One thing that brings out the best in you is your passion. You know, I used to see people singing and crying, or praying and crying, but I never knew what that really meant until I encountered passion. When you are passionate about something, there is this bubbling feeling on the inside that cannot be explained. It drives you beyond your limit. It makes you wanna give your all and even more. That's why it is important, what you are passionate about. It applies to good and bad. But when you choose to be passionate about anything good, you begin to do the impossible. You become the one that no one can ignore, cos you are just extra ordinary. let your passion drive you to inspire people.

Life is a fight. So be ready to fight through it.

In life, we all wanna move to the next level, but don't wanna face the things that connects the level we are at, and the next level. We all know that, when we are going through school, we write exams to go to the next class.If you do not write, you repeat. And if you fail, you also repeat. Now, the sad and crazy thing about repeating is that, it brings shame mixed up with pride. So you ask yourself; how can I be here in a lower class, when all my mates have moved to a higher class? I think it's better for me to just quit than to be laughed at. But what we most times fail to realize is, we did not take the time to study for the exams as we ought to. We did not give it the attention it deserved, and as a result, we failed. But no one wanna take the blame. One thing about taking the blame or responsibility for your failure is, it helps challenge you to do better. It helps you to develop the I can do mentality. It tells you, you may have failed but not a failure. Then, you begin to look for the things you should have done that you did not do. What can help you do well.
I always say that, life will never get easier. So, the earlier we realize it, the better. Do not take anything for granted. Sometimes I sit down and begin to regret some of the opportunities I had in the past and I did not take advantage of them, and I say had I known! One thing about opportunity you take advantage of is that, it brings you to a new level. It set you up for a greater opportunity.
Life is a fight, and you must know how to fight to survive.Like the saying that says, winners never quit, and quiters never win. Only those who win are recognized. Don't be the one to cry when others are celebrating. I always say that, I did not come to this world to be a spectator. Rather, I came to participate. Discover the you in you, and use it to your advantage.

Build On Your Success

In life, we all wanna be great. We all wanna do something that we will be remembered for, and this has led to a lot of us looking for inspiration from anywhere we can get it. Some find it, and some don't. As a result, a lot of us give up on our dreams. But there is one thing I wanna bring to us today. The best form of inspiration is self made. We all know that when something good happens to us, there's this excitement that we experience. An excitement that can't be described or quantified. I tell you, that's the best form of inspiration. Build on your success. Let the little things you achieve compel you to do more. And know this, whatever you achieve in life, set you up for a new beginning. Never think you've arrived when you achieve something. The fact that you could achieve that, means there is much more out there for you.

Now, a lot of us listen to people a lot. It is good, when you listen to the right people. But I tell you, the worst thing you can do in life is to listen to the wrong persons. They will kill your dreams. Always guide your ideas and nurture them. They are like trees planted by the river side. But unnurtured ideas are like trees in the dessert. Only those who believe in themselves make it big in life. Believe in yourself, and never hide your ideas cause you never know where they may be useful.

Always Choose Right

The Devil, is the founder of copy right. He is an enermy of progress and sucess. Some people may ask how. Because Christians speak in tongues, the devil also enable his agents/witch doctors to do incantation for spiritual activation. Whatever God does, the devil try to rebrand it and sell it to the world. This is the reason there's a lot of confusion in the world today. But one thing I would like to bring to you is that, when God wants to bless you, He first of all bring the right people to you. The same way, when the devil wants to destroy you, he brings the wrong people into your life, for the wrong reasons. Be careful of those you keep in your life, cause they will either break you, or make you. Now, there is no exception. I was litening to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome the other day and he said something that really struck me. He said, a lot of people marry wives from hell, because they've been walking close to hell themselves. This may not make sense to a lot of people, but it does make a whole bunch of sense to me. Where you go in life determines what you see, and what you are involved in, determines the results you get. The devil can plant someone in your life to destroy you in the name of wife or husband. This is why it is impotant for us to let God direct us to choose right. You know, sometimes ago, I was thinking about the statement in the Bible that says, he that finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtain favor of the Lord. Then I began to wonder why a lot of marriages are a curse instead of blessing! Always do what you do, for the right reason, and you will surely reap the benefit. God bless you.

Put Your Spiritual Life First.

Sometimes ago, I wrote something about the "COMMON THINGS OF LIFE". This is really very important everyday and in everything we do. Mind the things you take for granted. Today, I am talking about something different, but it goes in line with the above caption. Before I continue, I would like to say this. I do not write because I think I am a writer. Sometimes I don't even know why I write. But one thing I know is that, whenever I write, there is something for someone out there. I have really been encouraged by few people who read my posts and said, keep it up, and I wanna say a big thank you to all of you who take time to read my posts. I sincerely pray that God will always help me to write something that benefit you in one way or the other. Now, the amazing thing is, I also take time to read what I write, cause, it is important to do and act what you say.

Today, I wanna talk to you about the importance of our spiritual lives. This is very important because, the spiritual controls the physical. So, if the spiritual is right, the physical will definitely be right. But if the spiritual is wrong, it does not matter how right, or how far or how well you think the physical is, it will take less than a second for everything to crumble before your very eyes. The spiritual aspect of your life represents the foundation. When the foundation of a house is right, you can sleep with your eyes closed. But if it is not, as soon as there's a little wind/storm, you become afraid cause you do not know what to expect. Just like Jesus said about the two builders. One Building with the right foundation, and the other building in the sand.

Another thing I would like to say is this, always watch well before you leap. Everything that comes in the name of opportunty is not opportunity. Some are traps of the devil. Especially, when you are well grounded spiritually somewhere, don't be so much in a hurry to travel. When you are strong spiritually, you are a threat to the devil, and he will fashion ways to pull you out of the place where you have the right information, to a place where you will have limited access to those things that kept you strong, and before you know it, your faith/spiritual life begins to decrease. This is very important my brothers and sisters. All that glitter is not gold. I have seeing it happen, it is still happening and it will continue to happen. Always let God direct you. Do not trust too much in physical things.

Life and Consequences

To Everything we do, there is a consequence. We all know that, if you do good you get the reward. The same applies to bad. When you do bad, there is a consequence. Unfortunately, we often mistake it for God purnishing us. The truth is, God does not purnish anyone, rather, there are consequences for every act. Remember in the garden of Eden, God said to Adam and Eve, you may eat of every tree in the garden. But do not eat of this particular tree, cos if you do, you will surely die. That means, there was a standard set in the garden that has in it, a consequence for every act of disobedience. God did not have anything to do with it. Just like He also said in Deteuronomy 30:19: I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse: therefore choose life, that you may live, you and your seed; He even called Heaven and earth to witness so that, when it happens, He will have a witness.
Jame 1:13-15 also says "Let no man say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God," for God can't be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.
But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death".
Because God loves us so much, He still makes room for correction, and when not taken, the next time is pay day. Heed to advice and correction when there's still time. The Bible says, A wise man heeds to correction but it is foolishness to a fool. Don't be a fool but be wise. God bless you.

The Lord is My Shephered.

The Lord is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life, And I shall dwell in Yahweh's house forever.

Personality Opens Doors, But only Character keeps it Open.

A man is made up of different ingredients, and one of these ingredient is character. You know the saying that says " Show me your friends and I will tell you who you are" That is very true. It is a truth that can not be argued. But I would rather say " Show me your character, and I will tell you how far you will go in life". Know this that, personality can open doors, but only character keeps it open. The bible says in Acts 20:32, I entrust you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up.... Why is God concern about us being built up? He knows that, personality is not enough to make it in life. It has to be mixed up with character. That's why He also says in Colosians 3:16 that, Let the word of Christ dwell in us richly. This is because, when you have the word of God in you, it helps your character to be right. It teaches you what is right and what is wrong. It is a light that guides you in the dark. Don't let your character be your limitation. Let your true beauty come from the inside. Do not rely on the outward; It fades.

Don't wait but be patient.

Only one set of people make history in life. Those who believe in themselves, and trust in their abilities. If you belief in something, and patient about it, you can work it out. Trust me when I say you can.
Now, waiting and patience are two different things. We most times mistake waiting for patience. Waiting represents stagnance. While patience is holding on. You are patient because there is an expectation. You also patiently walk towards something. Do not wait. Rather, patiently walk towards your goal in life. You know, we misuse this statement that says " A patient Dog, eats the fatest bone" Now, what this means to me is, a dog that patiently stick to its owner, will always eat a fat bone. Not waiting somewhere that there is no bone and hoping. If you've been waiting, I am telling you its time to move and remain focus. Patiently hold on to your dreams. Do not give up. Every invention is a product of patience, and every failure is a result of inpatience. You try something today and because you did not get it right you give up on it. No, that's the life of a failure. Dust yourself and often try again. A little book I read many years back says " you only become a failure the day you stop doing something" If you are thinking about quiting today, think about electricity that you and I enjoy today, and how many times people have to research just to make it happen since the 6th century. It started as a tiny discovery and was nurtured into a reality. Think about the internet, the computer, airplane and so on, then you will know that you haven't even started not to talk about quiting. Position yourself for what you want in your life.

Good morning my friends, family and loved ones. It feels so good to be alive and see this beautiful day. The sun setting out so bright.You know what that means! It means, today is a bright day with bright opportunities. Do take full advantage of it and make the best use of it. You know in life, you can position yourself for greatness or for the opossite. To position yourself for greatness, you have to be conscious of where you go, what you do and most importantly, the friends you keep. Like the popular saying that says, show me your friends and I will tell you who you are! This is very true. The people you identify with matters a lot, cause, like I said, where you go determine what you see and what you see has a way of adding something to your personality. It's either positive or negative. So, position yourself for greatness by choosing your friends right. Let everything you do position you. You know before, we used to think that life is all about going to school and the course you read does not matter. But now we know better. If you want the hot jobs, you have to read the hot courses. There's no two ways about it. In your business, you have to choose what the people want in order to succeed. So, I call it positioning. Just like the football/soccer field, if you don't position yourself well, you don't get the pass. This is very important. The common things of life.

Some of the things we take for granted, are actually the most important things in life. Toad says, the things human beings take for granted are the things that kill people in their own world. How wonderful it is that, the saying we call common, are so important and vital to life! Yet we ignore them. I see people suffer everyday and even die as a result of the things we call common.For example, Many are sick today because they don't drink water. I have come to the realization that, almost 75% or more of the population do not drink water as supposed. Some don't even drink at all. Now, the kidney functions with water. But we don't think this is important. This is so sad that, a lot of people today think that, buying of water is a waste of money. They rather buy soda/mineral instead of water. Ignorance. Your body needs water not sweet things that leaves you with results that are not even healthy. We have succeeded in leaving the image for the shadow. No wonder the bible say, God's people perish for lack of knowledge. Why should this be, when God has given us everything? One of the greatest gifts God gave man is his brain. But sad enough, we do not make good use of it or take advantage of it. A lot of people are victims today because they never listened to their mind when it speaks to them. What do you take for granted that has become your limitation? You cannot make so much progress unless you conquer your limitations. Some of this limitations are habits. Don't let your habit be a barrier to you. How can your habit tell you what to do when you should be calling the shorts? If you read this, I want you to look inwards, think deeply to see if there is anything holding you in the form of limitation, and start doing something about it. A lot of people say things like,I have tried everything. Who told you you have tried everything! You have tried what you know. But there's a lot out there that you do not know. Do some research. Make positive effort, conscious and consistent effort and you will be glad you did. Don't forget that, determination, can only lead to success. Life is too sweet for you to allow anything to stop you from enjoying it. God bless you.

That trouble will soon pass away.

I don't know why there is this urge to say this in my spirit. Maybe God wants to reach someone that may be going through something out there. Just incase there is someone facing some kind of challenge out there, and you think God has forsaken you. He is saying that, it is but for a moment. He is saying that, that thing you see that seems so big is nothing compared to the miracle that awaits you. The bible says in 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 that, For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory; while we don't look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.When the children of Esrael were going through the desert and Pharoah and his men were approaching just before the red sea, they thought that was the end of the road for them because of what they could see. They saw them being killed by Pharaoh and his men. That was what the natural eyes could see. But Moses saw with the eyes of the spirit and said, the Egyptians you see today, you shall see them no more. Look beyond the physical. See with the eyes of the spirit, and see the great miracle that God is about to Perform. He is saying to you, cry no more cause, the troubles you see today, you shall see them no more. I hope faith comes to you as you read this and God bless you and bless your heart.

Your mindset

One thing you need to function and succeed in life is your mind. When your mind is right, everything in your life becomes right. Your mind helps you to think right and make the right choices. No wonder the bible says "Guide Your Heart with all Diligence, for out of it are the issues of life."Diligence here means, constant and earnest effort to accomplish what is undertaken; persistent exertion of body or mind. So, the bible is saying here that, we should make constant and earnest effort to make sure that we guide our hearts at all times. To make sure that, nothing bypass it at all. Why is this important to God? It is because your life depend on it. The true you comes from there. The bible also says, whatever that is conceived, believed can be achieved. You conceieve an idea with your heart, and if well nurtured, it becomes a reality. Now, if this is true, why is it that, a lot of people have conceived beautiful ideas and it vanished before they even knew it? The answer is simple. Their hearts are too congested. Full of junk because they do not think it is important to watch what comes in there. If you wanna be successful, start feeding your heart with the right stuff and it will become a fertile ground for success producing ideas. Know this that, God did not create a failure. Failure is self made and it all starts from your mind. What is your mindset? Only you can answer that. God bless you.

Who is This God?

Good day my friends and loved ones. How are you doing today? It is so good to be here today. So good to be alive and well. Indeed, God is so great. He is truly a merciful God. Even when we turn our backs on Him, He still showers us with His divine love and grace. Sometimes I really don't know what to say that can really qualify who He is. He is just awesome. Has He been good to you? Cause He's been really really good to me. Sometimes I just look back at where he brought me from, the stuff I have been through and I sing a song that says" where would I be, if not for His grace"? We get tossed sometimes that we even give up on ourselves, but He has never given up on us. Even in our unfaithfulness, He remains faithful, and I ask, who is this God? You know, when I was little, I used to ask a question about who God's parents are. So silly right! But that silly, childish question has been able to help me respect, trust and obey God today. Look at this, everybody on earth have mother, father and stuff, but God have no father, nor mother. Isn't that awesome? That He does not have mother, nor father, yet He exists! He created everything and gave us everything we have. Then, who is this God? You can never get an answer to that question. No one has been able to give a definite answer to that question. No one knows His origin. So, all we have to do is to just respect who he is. Look at this, He sees us but we can't see Him. At times I get so afraid thinking about God, His powers and everything He has made. The miracles, the wonders He performs day in day out. Yet He brings down himself to our level, begging us to please change our ways and we trample on His kindness, yet He can take us away at the snap of His fingers. I know I am not making any sense right now, but just wanna give us a picture of who this God is. Ask yourself the question, who is God, try to find the answer to that question and you will be amazed at the answer you get. God is real, and if you trust Him, you will never be disappointed. Good Plan brings Good Result.

First of all, I wanna welcome you all to the year 2012. You know, a journey that starts well, sure ends well. Therefore, I am encouraging everyone of us to take this year seriously. Make good plans, follow your plans to the letter, and this year will end with smiles on your face. A lot of us fail not because we are supposed to fail, but because we refuse to plan. And if you refuse to plan, then you have automatically plan to fail. Some will say, how do I plan, and with what! Hey! Everything in life starts from you, and all the answers to whatever question you may want to ask is within you. Any answer you cannot provide yourself, no one can ever give you.
